How to Make DIY Raised Garden Beds with Corrugated Metal?

If you have always enjoyed the appearance of raised garden boxes, then today is your opportunity to finally escape and construct them. They supply a rich aesthetic to a lawn and simplicity and advantage when gardening.

Growing our veggies is one of my favourite hobbies. I really like I can view them develop from seed into food and particularly love I understand just what goes into them. I really like when the children (and at times the puppies…) select snacks out of the backyard, and I particularly love going out having a large bowl before catching and dinner components.

You will have to cut on the corrugated metal and alloy flashing into four 22″ segments, the redwood to your box to eight 48″ segments, along with the redwood to the decorative top of this box to four 48″ pieces which are ripped in half (cut in half) to make it seem a little nicer.

Create the base frame

Use four of that two ″ x 3″ x 4′ bits of timber to create the base frame of this box. After we cut corners to match them together, we utilized deck screws to fasten them together. To block your wood from breaking near the ends, drill pilot holes before using screws.

Insert rooting to sides

We secured the metal flashing into the corners of the base frame of the poles. It was unquestionably easier to do with two individuals.

Insert the corrugated metal

While I sat out with an ideal angle, Steve sat within the box, making sure the metal was right until he screwed it set up.

Flip and protected

After procuring the corrugated metal, we flipped the planter over, thus the metallic match just inside another box framework. We ensured that using deck screws. Secure the chicken wire into the base of the box using a basic gun. We did so to ensure no creature could tunnel beneath the boxes.

Insert top frame

Insert trickle tube

Insert soil
